Bishop Arts hot spot deemed one of 10 U.S. restaurants worth the wait in line
If you have ever attempted to brunch at Oddfellows on the weekend, then a new list from Yahoo Travel may resonate with you. According to the site, the Bishop Arts District favorite is among 10 restaurants in the country worth the wait in line.
Says Yahoo: Diners in this "newly trendy area" are willing to wait for two hours at breakfast and dinner to get their mouths on the restaurant's famous buffalo mac. In fact, that buffalo mac is so good that it's worth waiting in the TSA line for a flight to Dallas. Huh.
Another, more legit, Texas choice is Franklin Barbecue in Austin. Of course they had to mention that President Obama recently cut in line. The queue generally starts forming a couple of hours (even not more) before the doors open so folks can get their hands on that "precious brisket and other smoked meats."
Other restaurants on Yahoo's list include State Bird Provisions in San Francisco, Shake Shack in New York, Hot Doug's in Chicago and Oklahoma Joe's in Kansas City.
