Beloved Burger Joint Is Back
Big-deal diners go for cheese fries at Snuffer's Greenville grand reopening party
Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar, the beloved Dallas cheat-day restaurant on Greenville Avenue now owned by Firebird Restaurant Group, celebrated its grand reopening with a VIP foodie event.
Guests — including Natalie and Wilson Chu, Betty and John Crawford, Jacqueline Fojtasek, Michael Gallant, Ann Zimmerman, Laree Hulshoff, Ben Fischer, Phyllis and Bill Hammond, Horatio Lonsdale-Hands, Susan Posnick, Sam Saladino, Matthew Simon, Gail Warrior, Angus Wynne, and Anne Bothwell — headed to the original location for a round of burgers and those famous cheddar fries. Firebird Restaurant Group execs Brian Livingston and Steve Chambers were there to welcome them to the celebration.
The feel and atmosphere of the 35-year-old Greenville site — including some of the original benches, chairs and photos — remain, but a few new touches have been added. The large wraparound porch and inside-outside bar made guests excited for the upcoming spring temperatures.
A proud and longtime supporter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Firebird Restaurant Group collaborated with the charity for the festivities. And what kind of a party would it be without some swag? Each guest walked away with a logoed Snuffer’s glass as a thank you gift.
