    Where To Shop Now

Where to shop in Dallas right now: 10 must-hit stores for May

    Diana Oates
    May 11, 2015 | 6:00 am

In this month's shopping roundup, there are pop-ins and pop-ups, designer deals on this and that, and new couture and swimwear options. Your closet may never be the same.

    AC Couture Studio
Allie-Coosh, the longest running women's boutique in Snider Plaza, is going into the custom clothing and jewelry business. Paulette Martsolf and Norma Villanueva are teaming up to offer couture evening gowns, special occasion wear, and bridal and mother-of-the-bride gowns. Prices start at $1,500.

    Bloomingdale's The Outlet
We never met a designer deal we didn't like, and a selection of Gucci and Bottega Veneta handbags has arrived at this Shops at Park Lane outlet store. These coveted accessories will not last long, so if you get to the store and find they've already been snapped up, call 972-707-6850 to be added to the call list.

    Brooklyn + West
This new men's and women's boutique at the Shops at Legacy North imports trends straight from New York and LA. Featured brands include Gyspy 05, Sol Angeles, Paige Denim, Junk Food Clothing, James Jeans, Chaser Brand, MinkPink and more.

    Calypso St. Barth
As part of the Calypso Cares initiative, Calypso St. Barth is accepting like-new clothing donations until May 18. Pieces will be sold via Fashion Project to benefit She's the First, and the organization will receive, at minimum, $5,000 from the brand to sponsor girls' education. In exchange, you get 20 percent off a full-price purchase in store or online.

    Lou & Grey
Lou & Grey, a collection of Loft, is a go-to destination for an assortment easygoing, texture-rich, everyday loungewear. The fashion-forward sportswear line offers a wide range of tops and bottoms, and every last piece is comfy. The NorthPark store is the first in Texas.

    Luxury Garage Sale
The pop-up shops continue for Luxury Garage Sale, where you can score designer goods at an affordable price in an upscale shopping environment. Next it heads to Traffic LA from May 14-17, with vintage Chanel, Hermes jewelry and handbags. A permanent shop is set to open later this year.

Lou & Grey is an exciting evolution of the LOFT lounge collection, and a new movement in retail. Lou & Grey is the destination for a full assortment of easygoing, texture-rich loungewear for everyday. The fashion forward sportswear line offers a wide range of tops and bottoms; from leggings and jeans to linen and wool tops. This is the only Lou & Grey store in Texas. - See more at: https://www.northparkcenter.com/stores/northpark-lou-grey#sthash.Io4AQFZd.dpuf

Nike Women Pop-in at Nordstrom Northpark
The latest pop-in at Nordstrom NorthPark features Nike gear for gals through May 24. Think Tier 0 kicks (the ultimate in limited editions) that you won't be able to find anywhere else, plus workout wear and gear. They are also giving away a sneaker a day for the duration of the shop. To enter, visit Nordstrom.com/pop.

    Reveal Swimwear
Started by two Dallas moms, this luxury resort and swimwear shop offers "beach to bar" clothing and accessories for a woman's weekend getaway. It opens on May 18, and customers can shop international brands like Basta Surf, Suboo and Flagpole Swim in Dallas for the first time.

    S.I.C. Couture
Once only an e-commerce site, S.I.C. Couture gets a bricks-and-mortar boutique in Uptown this month. Owner Jessica Ramos returned to her hometown to design it, and the store contains styles from past collections, new designs and the first-ever S.I.C. Couture T-shirt bar. Also find accessories such as jewelry, scarves and hats. Prices range from $14-$300.

    Thrift Studio
Find deals on donated furniture, housewares, accessories and other high-end home decor at this cherished semi-annual pop-up shop. Items are being donated constantly, so the assortment changes every day. You have until May 23, and your purchase helps Dwell With Dignity serve families in need.

Reveal Swimwear opens on West Lovers Lane on May 18.
