New Uptown Hot Spot
Get ready to spend your happiest hours at Uptown Dallas’ best new patio
Harwood International has a new restaurant-bar concept called Happiest Hour, described as Dallas' "largest patio bar and lounge." It opens this fall at 2501 N. Harwood St.
It boasts more than 12,000 square feet and two stories, including a rooftop patio with views of the Dallas skyline.
"The industrial chic setting paired with unparalleled service in this premier location will give guests a unique experience," says Harwood Hospitality Group director of operations Bruno Roulleux in a release.
The superlatively named Happiest Hour sits across from the American Airlines Center and will likely become a go-to destination before and after a game or show. Harwood Hospitality Group's portfolio includes six restaurants around Uptown: Marie Gabrielle, Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar, Mercat Bistro, Magnolias: Sous Le Pont, and the Grove at Harwood. The group knows a thing or two about great patios.
Harwood Hospitality will add two more restaurant concepts this fall, totaling eight in the district by the end of the year. Also this fall, luxury high-rise Bleu Ciel will break ground in the Harwood District.
Happiest Hour's menu, influenced and inspired by fresh, locally sourced ingredients, includes such signature dishes as the Texan rib, featuring 12-hour smoked cross-cut beef rib; a crudité platter with seasonal vegetables, hummus, and ranch dressing; and sandwiches such as fried green tomatoes, mozzarella, and sweet pickle marmalade on brioche bread.
Cocktails are both "artisan" and "thoughtfully crafted." There are eight wines and more than 50 beers on tap. Look for 18 screens throughout the patio bar for the ultimate game-watching experience.
Happiest Hour is located in Harwood, which the release claims is the fastest growing district in the country, with a walk score of 92, progressive culture, independent spirit, and calming nature within 18 city blocks.
