    Where To Shop Now

Where to shop in Dallas right now: 13 must-hit stores for November

    Diana Oates
    Nov 8, 2016 | 11:57 am

There have been so many store openings lately that we may have set some kind of record here in Dallas. That’s good news, given that it’s our favorite pastime.

This is where we’re shopping this month.

    Akola
The Dallas-based jewelry and accessories brand has relocated its flagship from Deep Ellum to Snider Plaza. In addition to the regular offerings, the new location also carries a new contemporary line with pieces made of silk-knotted beads, gold discs with 14-karat gold plating, and gemstones. All net proceeds are returned to Akola’s development projects in Uganda and Dallas.

    Bandier
The Highland Park Village boutique dedicated to fitness wear is selling exclusive Southern Methodist University gear. The SMU collection includes a bra, leggings, and hoodie, with prices ranging from $60-$125.

    B&B Italia
In partnership with Internum, the Dallas Design District now has a monobrand store from contemporary furniture brand B&B Italia. Inside the 6,000-square-foot space find displays for B&B Italia, B&B Italia Outdoor, and the Maxalto Collections.

    Birchwood
This store dedicated to contemporary home furnishings, décor, and gifts recently debuted on Henderson Avenue. It stocks products from more than 50 independent artists and design houses — everything from soy candles to wall art to furniture.

    Club Monaco
The doors to this West Village store recently closed; however, it’s now open again on level one at NorthPark Center, between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Shoppers can find the same modern yet timeless pieces that have lured fashionistas since the first store opened in Toronto in 1985.

    DLM Supply
This new Oak Cliff shop offers menswear, gifts, and quirky accessories. Brands include Billy Reid, Relwen, Filson, S.M.N Denim, Goodlife, J Brand, Raleigh, La Paz, and Portuguese Flannel. It also stocks an extensive line of accessories brands.

    Est. 1914
Another newcomer to Oak Cliff, this shop comes from vintage veteran Mike Levine. Modeled after cutting-edge stores in New York, Est. 1914 specializes in vintage and gently worn on-trend fashion, procured by buyers from around the country. There’s a grand opening party on November 19, 3-6 pm, with food, drinks, giveaways, discounts, and DJ Sober.

    Flea Style
The annual shopping event returns November 11-12, featuring more than 300 artisans and small businesses showcasing goods — art, furniture, paper goods, clothing and jewelry, and pet gear — in the 85,000-square-foot Automobile Building at Fair Park. Tickets start at $5, and doors open on Friday, November 11, at 5 pm for the First Dibs Event, and at 9 am on Saturday.

    Jingle Dwell Holiday Pop-Up
Dwell With Dignity has added a new charitable pop-up to its repertoire. Jingle Dwell starts with a posh preview party on November 9, where shoppers can bid on Christmas trees decorated by top Dallas designers and get first dibs on high-end holiday decor. The event continues through November 20, and proceeds benefit Dwell With Dignity.

    Outdoor Voices
The Austin-based active lifestyle brand has set up shop at 4539 Travis St., in Knox District. Expect to find the brand’s core product line like the OV Kits, which are essentially bundles of all the pieces needed for a solid workout. Other outdoor necessities like tennis shoes, frisbees, jump ropes, and dog leashes make this store a must-visit before a weekend of outdoor activity.

    Singer & Monk
In need of a fedora, bowler, or panama-style hat? Hit up this new shop in the Bishop Arts District for hat options that ooze old-school style and sophistication. Recognizable brands include Brixton and Country Gentleman, with eventual plans to start selling a private label.

    Soft Surroundings
The luxury lifestyle brand for women — everything from clothing and jewelry to bedding and fragrance — is opening a second Dallas-Fort Worth store this month at Preston Park Village in Plano. (The first is at Southlake Town Square.) The first 100 guests to show up to shop on Friday, November 18, for the grand opening party get a gift bag valued at $200.

    Warby Parker
The designer eyewear brand has opened a shop at NorthPark Center, on level one between Nordstrom and Macy’s, offering affordable, stylish glasses starting at jut $95. The store also offers a selection of sunglasses. This is the brand’s first location inside a shopping center and its second in Dallas.

Bandier Fit in Highland Park Village has started offering SMU-inspired designs.
