A husband-and-wife duo just opened this gorgeous boutique that has Park Cities written all over it. For winter, there's a selection of wool and cashmere sweaters and beautiful tweed jackets; patterned pleated wrap skirts will be a staple come spring. On the other side is Sid Mashburn, where men can score jeans or get fitted for a custom suit.
Dior Beauty
Imagine an entire store dedicated to Dior fragrance, makeup, and skincare. This dream becomes a reality this month when it opens at Highland Park Village. The store features around 500 square feet of luxurious goods for the face and body — and it's the first of its kind in the United States.
Edo Popken
The menswear shop in the Dallas Design District is hosting a blowout sale through January 6. If you buy four items priced at $111 each — think men's puffer vests and jackets, wool coats, pullovers, and select button-down shirts — you get two complimentary items of equal or lesser value. There are also items priced at $50 each, such as men's puffer jackets, hooded zip sweatshirts, short- and long-sleeve button-down shirts, and denim or corduroy pants.
Shinola
Detroit-based accessories brand Shinola opened its first Texas outpost in downtown Plano, and a second has opened at Highland Park Village. Whatever you are in the market for — watches, leather goods, even bicycles — you can be sure that these products are made in America, and made well.

This Lovers Lane luxury resale shop is making waves on the Dallas fashion scene. Designer shoes, clothing, and accessories are sourced from all over the world, as founder Chrissy Sayare finds pieces from Dallas, Atlanta, Paris, Milan, and more. Find everything from Chanel suits to something sparkling for a holiday party. An entire salon is devoted to handbags.
Quinn and Stella Jingle Bell Mistletoe
How can you resist little cuties selling mistletoe and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the North Texas Food Bank? This young duo is setting up at a variety of shops, and Highland Park Village has agreed to match all sales. The schedule is as follows:
- December 11, 4-5:30 pm, at Avant Garden
- December 13, 1-4 pm, at Royal Blue Grocery
- December 19, 1-4 pm, at Shinola
- December 20, 1-4 pm, at Five & Ten
- December 22, 1-4 pm, at Market
That Ugly Christmas Sweater Store
This shop at Inwood Village — run by Rich Hippie owner Mindi Kahn — is a second option for those in need of an ugly sweater for a holiday party. The first, called the Ugly Christmas Sweater Shop, reopened for the season on Mockingbird Lane near Abrams Road, courtesy of Jeremy Turner, who operates VintageMobile. To sum up: Dallas has no shortage of ugly Christmas sweater options.
Unbranded
The innovative pop-up concept from Dallas entrepreneurs Matt Alexander (Need, Foremost) and Bryan DeLuca (Foot Cardigan) returns for a second year — but this time Unbranded has bigger digs in downtown Dallas, at 1600 Commerce St., across from Neiman Marcus. Shop a curated assortment of brands, such as Sunshine Tienda, Cykochik, and Lounge County, and peruse and purchase works from local artists such as Kyle Steed. Unbranded is open Thursday-Sunday, 11 am-7 pm, through December 20, and the lineup changes weekly.
Vintage Martini
Lisa Garza-Selcer (of Sissy's Southern Kitchen) is offering her designer apron line, Couture Caviar, just in time for the holidays. Each apron, handcrafted using Shantung silk, is inspired by Garza-Selcer's personal collection of vintage hosting aprons, dating back to the 1800s. Prices range from $135-$150, and the aprons come in various plaids and colors.
