Former featured pets Angel and Petunia are still waiting for their forever homes. This week meet Lucy, who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas two days before Christmas because her previous owners didn't have time for a pet.
Could Lucy be the new love in your life? Well, let's meet her:
Breed: Hound mix
Age: 6 years
Weight: 53 pounds
Personality: Lucy can be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she gets to know you, she is as sweet as can be. She enjoys going for walks outside and does well on the leash. She's also used to living with children.
Vital stats: Lucy has been spayed, heartworm tested (she is negative) and microchipped, and she has received her age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Lucy (#123572) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
