Pet of the Week
Looking for a new leading Lady? SPCA of Texas has just the dog for you
From last week, precious Squishy was adopted along with Claire from the week before that. We still need help getting Athena and Little One into their forever homes.
This week we'd like for you to meet Lady, who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on February 16. This beautiful dog has a gorgeous brindle coat, sparkling chocolate eyes and a pretty pink tongue ready to lick your face. Could she be the new lady in your life? Let's find out:
Breed: Pit bull mix
Age: 4 years
Weight: 50 pounds
Personality: If you're looking for the perfect family pet, then look no further. Lady is a playful gal who enjoys running about, soaring after tennis balls, playing chase and partaking in tug-of-war matches. As a family pet, Lady already knows her way around a home. She has mastered loose-leash walking and sitting on command, and she is also crate- and house-trained.
Come meet Lady (#102602) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
Regular adoption fees are $95-$125 for puppies 0-6 months, $75-$95 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $50 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $95 for kittens, $75 for adult cats, $50 for senior cats 7 years and older, and $50 for VIP cats.
