Pet of the Week
SPCA's Lacy the Labrador is looking for a fun new fam
Former featured pets Minnie Pearl, Lady, Rupaul and Little One are still available for adoption. This week meet Lacy, who has been with the SPCA of Texas since April 6.
She was surrendered to the SPCA because her family didn't have enough room for her to run and play. Could she be the next addition to your family? Let’s find out.
Breed: Labrador mix
Age: 1 year old
Weight: 59 pounds
Personality: Lacy already knows commands like "sit" and "fetch," and she loves to go on walks. In her previous home, she was housetrained, but after living in the shelter, it might take her a couple of weeks to remember what to do. However, a little patience and positive reinforcement should do the trick. Also, it's probably best if there aren't any children younger than 10 in Lacy's new home.
Vital stats: Lacy has already been spayed and microchipped, and she is current on all of her shots.
Come meet Lacy (#128139) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
