Former featured pets Wendy and Little One are still waiting for their forever homes. Remember that SPCA of Texas is offering 50 percent off adoption fees for all adult cats 1 year or older through the end of June at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center and the Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center. In addition, all VIP cats are free until June 30.
This week meet Angel, who has been at the shelter since February 9, when her family had to give her up because they were moving. Don’t make her wait another day.
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: 7 pounds
Personality: Angel is a real looker. She has has the most unusual marking on her nose that resembles like the Mitsubishi logo — three connected diamonds — and lovely yellow-gold eyes. She has three white legs and one black one with a white mitten on it, which makes her truly one-of-a-kind. She loves to be petted, although she might not seek it out, and she gets along well with other cats.
Vital Stats: She has been spayed and microchipped, and she has received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Angel (128005) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
