Pet of the Week
Sam the mature cat recovers at SPCA of Texas while waiting on fur-ever family
Great news! Former featured pets Logan, Jewel and Exotic have been adopted. However, Penny is still waiting for her forever family.
This week meet Sam. She came from a pretty rough situation, but the wonderful rescue and investigations team at the SPCA of Texas brought her in on July 30 to make sure that she got the proper care.
Could this sweet kitty be your new BFF? Let’s find out:
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Age: 10 years
Weight: 8 pounds
Personality: Sam is quite shy but just as sweet as she can be when she opens up. She is actually okay with other cats too. She’ll need some time to adjust to her new home, so please be patient with her as she gets used to things.
Vital Stats: She has been spayed and microchipped, and she has received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Sam today (#129256) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
