Naturally SoulCycle would choose Uptown for second Dallas spin studio
If you thought Dallas had enough spin studios, think again: The most famous of them all, SoulCycle, is opening a second Dallas location at West Village in Uptown.
The new location, opening mid-December at 3699 McKinney Ave., will feature a 3,321-square-foot studio, complete with 55 bikes. This is five fewer bikes than the Preston Center location, which debuted in March. It will also have an expansive lifestyle boutique selling SoulCycle’s original performance and athleisure clothing collections.
Known for its club-like lighting, pulsing music, and celeb sightings — first lady Michelle Obama, Bradley Cooper, Madonna, and Lady Gaga are all devotees — SoulCycle promises an "emotional journey that runs parallel to the physical workout." The high-intensity cardio program burns between 500-700 calories in 45 minutes, while also toning upper bodies using hand weights and core-engaging choreography.
There are more than 65 Soul Cycle locations nationwide, including three in Texas. Classes typically cost $30 for 45 minutes, but there are longer, more intense classes also available, as well as classes for teens.
