Conan O'Brien adds Cone Zone to Final Four week activities in Dallas

Conan O'Brien will be all around town for the next week, including in virtual form at The Cone Zone, setting up at Main Street Garden and Reunion Park.

If you were pumped about the idea of Conan O'Brien bringing Conan to the Majestic Theatre for a week of shows but weren't among the lucky few to snag tickets, you can still get a taste of Team Coco courtesy of a setup called the Cone Zone.

The Cone Zone is an Airstream trailer decked out in all things Conan. It will hang out at Main Street Garden March 31-April 3, then move over to House of Blues Dallas on the night of April 3 before ending the week as part of the massive NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Reunion Park April 4-6.

The trailer will feature a virtual Conan set where you can take a selfie, a display of Conan-themed fan art, appearances by Team Coco personalities, video games, a mechanical bull, basketball hoop, music from the Latin House Krew and more. There will also be free charging stations and free drinks courtesy of Coke Zero.

The guest list for Conan's stay in Dallas is packed with big names like Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Charles Barkley, but it's light on locals. In fact, the only true locals that will make an appearance on the show — aside from the bits he'll likely film around town — are the members of the Eli Young Band, the Denton band that just released its fifth album.

All of this, of course, is leading up to NCAA Men's Final Four starting April 5 at AT&T Stadium, with the Saturday games being broadcast on TBS.

3. Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives is taping in Dallas this week. Fieri's not just in town for a promotional appearance. The Food Network star is also filming future episodes of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, his massively popular, long-running show.

4. McKinney couple ready to shine on ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight. A McKinney couple whose annual holiday lights extravaganza attracts visitors from all over North Texas had the chance to shine in the national spotlight on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight. Also in the spotlight: The Hughes family from Rockwall, who appeared on the show's season premiere.

5. Dallas climbs back up in ranking of 'World's Best Cities' for 2025. Dallas made a big rebound in its status among the top 100 best cities in the world, according to a prestigious new report. Resonance Consultancy ranked Dallas the 55th best city worldwide for 2025 in its annual "World's Best Cities" list.
