Brow and beauty spa plucked from East Coast makes Texas debut in Dallas
A North Carolina-based brow and beauty spa has found its way to Dallas for its big Texas debut. Idolize Brows and Beauty has opened at The Pavilion on Lovers Lane, 5600 W. Lovers Ln., Ste. 111.
With the motto “beauty begins with your brows,” Idolize offers signature eyebrow and facial threading, plus lash extensions, waxing (face and body), lash and brow tinting, lash lifts, and customized facials.
Dallas entrepreneurs Gohar and Cecilia Bute have brought the franchise to Dallas, the farthest west that the brand has ventured. All other locations remain on the East Coast, in North and South Carolina, and (coming soon) New Hampshire and New Jersey.
“We are proud to be the franchise owners of the first Idolize Brows and Beauty location in Texas, and thrilled to introduce the brand to Dallas,” Gohar Bute says in a release.
The company was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2009, when facial and brow threading became an increasingly popular alternative to waxing. Founder Mo Pandoria gave up his job in the corporate world to establish a brand that would offer threading and more at affordable prices.
Pricing at the Lovers Lane location starts at about $6 for threading of a man's uni-brow (yes, the spa is for men, too, they say) to $35 for the full face. Waxing runs $9 (lower lip) to $130 (full body). Brow and lash extensions and enhancements run about $20-$175.
Idolize offers Dermalogica facials ($50 for 30 minutes; $90 for 60 minutes) with a number of enhancements available ($15). The most interesting add-on is called an Ionactive Power Treatment and promises: "This action packed, bio charged treatment combines thermal treatment activity and the latest technology to rapidly reduce signs of skin aging, uneven skin, acne, or dehydration."
Idolize Dallas — a cute spot decorated in the brand's signature gray, pink, and gold accents — is opening with COVID-19 safety protocols that include mask-wearing, temperature checks, limited capacity, and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing between each spa service.
“The health and safety of our associates and clients is our top priority, and we are ready to operate in this 'new normal,'” Bute says.
To celebrate the grand opening, the spa is offering a “Welcome Package” that includes 50 percent off facials, waxing, and threading services; $6 brow threading; and $75 lash extensions.
Walk-ins are welcome, but preference is given to appointments.
The spa is open 10 am-6 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am-5 pm Saturday. For more information and bookings, visit the website.
