Join 2 Dallas bloggers on a holiday shopping mission at Inwood Village
Shopping during the holidays can feel like a chore — unless you're shopping at Inwood Village.
Follow Cathy Williamson, of the fashion and lifestyle blog The Middle Page, and Heather Anderson, of the fashion blog So Heather, as they check off gifts for everyone on their list — and a few for themselves — at the historic shopping center situated at Lovers Lane and Inwood Road.
KidBiz and TheBiz
Janet Finegold, a former couture buyer for Neiman Marcus, wasn't satisfied with the kids' clothing she was seeing in stores, so she opened her own in 1989. Now located in Inwood Village, it's the place to find fashion-forward apparel, accessories, and gifts from some of the most fun brands out there, all geared toward little ones and teens. The store is divided into several sections —KidBiz , The Biz, and a Jon Hart store that offers in-store monogramming — each of which offers something unique.

Pogo's
Independently owned and managed in a sea of chains, this wine and spirits shop cultivates a collection full of interesting and small-label bottles, all of which can be gift-wrapped for free. From craft brews to locally distilled spirits to hard-to-find wine labels, it's probably living here among their racks. And if you need a few last-minute bottles before a party? Don't worry, they deliver.
Saint Bernard Sports
Outdoor enthusiasts flock to this family-owned store for sportswear, apparel, ski and snowboard equipment, eyewear, footwear, and accessories, but there's quite a bit for even the non-sporty set. Stock up on gifts, then recharge with an expertly made cup of java from Saint Bernard's new coffee bar.
