Blushington takes the pro makeup scene in Dallas mainstream
Ladies, with the plethora of parties on our busy social schedules, sometimes we need to outsource our beauty regimen. Enter Blushington Makeup & Beauty Lounge, set to debut in December in the Shops at Highland Park in Dallas.
Just like Drybar, which solves that pesky blowout problem — our hair always looks better when someone else does it, right? — Blushington founder Stephi Maron intends to help us with our makeup, especially when the occasion calls for smoky eyes or pouty lips.
Blushington wil provide professional makeup services at an affordable price: $40. Choose from six different looks, which can be purchased as-is or custom-designed:
- Pure & Simple, for natural, barely there makeup
- Simply Glowing, for a sun-kissed face with a little glow
- Life of the Party, for a sexy and fun night on the town
- Lucky Stars, for classic old Hollywood glamour, with black liquid eyeliner and red lip
- Smoke & Mirrors, with defined cheeks and smoky eyes
- Cutting Edge, for a look right off the runway
Whether you pop in after your blowout, or you make a special trip to Blushington, you’re going to look smashing, darling, for all those holiday parties and charitable events.
“We are thrilled to bring our services to Dallas,” Maron said in a statement. “When the retail space next to Drybar in Highland Park became available, we jumped on the opportunity. We see this as a one-stop destination for Dallas women and all their beauty needs. Our unique concept and affordable services allow women to not only get their makeup done for special events, but also for everyday occasions.”
Blushington will also offer waxing, tweezing, tinting, faux lash applications and full lash extensions. Makeup classes and private parties are also part of the plan. Appointments can be booked online too. To that we say: Sign us up.
