The highlights: The Arboretum announces “Romance at the Arboretum,” a candlelight dinner beginning at 6:30 pm with champagne, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a performance by SMU’s woodwind quintet. Dinner includes roasted pheasant with madeira sauce as well as bittersweet chocolate torte.
Cost per person: $250 for participant seating, $350 for patron level seating. A Valentine Angel table is available for $10,000 that offers seating at the DeGolyer Dining Room table, a private musician and service for up to 10 people.

Dee Lincoln’s Steak and Burger Bar
The highlights: Three-course dinner menu on Valentine's Day. The highlights: Five-course prix fixe Valentine's Dinner for two is served on February 14 from 4 pm to midnight. At the Dallas Max's, couples will enjoy chef Patrick Russell's Why The Hell Not?! Valentine’s Day menu which includes East coast oysters and risotto with lobster and Meyer lemon. At the Fort Worth Max's, chef Stefon Rishel's Valentine’s Dinner will be served February 14 through 16, with seafood manicotti and vegan spaghetti.

The highlights: Former Komali and Alma chef Anastacia Quinones returns to the kitchen at Peak & Elm on Friday February 14 to offer a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner featuring all locally sourced ingredients from the Dallas Farmers Market. Anastacia works as a culinary instructor at Molina High School. Live music and service will be provided by Molina High School students. The meal begins with a mixed green salad with crab cakes and grapefruit. Entrée will be choice of Modelo beer-braised short rib with hominy puree or Mexican garlic shrimp with spinach and rice.
