If you’re a fan of HelloFresh — or you’ve always wanted to try it but didn’t want to commit to a subscription — today’s your lucky day. Roots Juices in Lakewood just announced a partnership with the internationally recognized online meal-kit delivery service endorsed by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

Roots will offer individual meal kits — i.e., an obligation-free way to use HelloFresh whenever you want it — as well as an in-store pick-up option for HelloFresh subscribers.

According to a release, Roots Juices is the first retailer in the United States to partner with HelloFresh, which offers meal kits with fresh ingredients and step-by-step recipe instructions. Meals include a variety of flavors, and one dinner each week is curated by Oliver.

Individual meal kits that serve two people are $25, and weekly subscriptions start at $59 for three meals a week for two adults. Options are also available for meals that serve three and four people.

In Dallas, the meal kits are made locally at the HelloFresh distribution center in Grand Prairie and delivered to Roots Juices daily, ensuring that the ingredients in each meal are as fresh as they can be. The weekly pick-up orders are placed through HelloFresh’s online subscription option; the individual meal kits are available anytime and are perfect for a quick, and healthy, dinner-for-two option.

The Roots Juices location on Oak Lawn Avenue will add the HelloFresh individual meal kits and subscriber pick-up services in the near future.
