Where to drink in Dallas right now: 5 bars with best new happy hours
With the holidays coming, we need to pinch our pennies for gifts, festivities, splurges, and preparatory spa treatments. Dallas restaurants and bars are here to help by providing you with valuable cost savings on your cocktails and snacks.
Here are five new happy hours for November:
Bartaco
Upscale taqueria concept with locations at Dallas' Preston Center and Fort Worth's Clearfork has introduced a longer happy hour it calls "High Tide," which takes place weekdays from 3-6:30 pm; it used to be 4-6 pm. So it starts earlier, and runs later. You get pretty significant discounts on drinks such as the Mojito Tinto, usually $10 but $7.50 during HH. Wines are $6 and there's also markdowns on food such as tacos, only $2. Hours: Monday-Friday 3-6:30 pm.
Blatt Beer & Table
Unlike other happy hours that run weekdays only, Blatt is going all in with weekend happy hours, too, including Sunday afternoons. You get discounts on appetizers, wine, beer, and cocktails including chile con queso, mac & cheese bites, and deviled eggs. House wines are $3.50, and cocktails such as margaritas and Moscow mules are $6. Hours: Monday-Saturday 3-7 pm, Friday-Saturday 9:30-11 pm, and best of all Sundays, 3-8 pm.
