It's the season for celebrating friendships, and there are opportunities to do just that this week with two Friendsgiving-themed dining events. But first, pair a Pilates class with a Paloma mixology session, enjoy new late-night hours at a favorite taco joint with a party, and indulge in Italian bites, wine, spirits, and live music during the biggest grocery-store fete of the year.
Wednesday, November 13
Pilates & Palomas at Hall Arts Hotel
Take part in a 50-minute mat Pilates class followed by a lesson in crafting the perfect Paloma cocktail presented by Socorro Tequila. The class is $25 and begins at 5:30 pm. Bring your own mat.
Duckhorn Wine Dinner at Wine a Little
The McKinney wine bar located inside the HUB 121 entertainment complex will host a four-course dinner paired with Duckhorn Vineyards wines. Menu items include a roasted beet salad with whipped goat cheese, walnut and gorgonzola ravioli, seared salmon with farrow risotto, and grilled New Zealand lamb chops. The price is $129, plus tax and service fee, and dinner begins at 7 pm.

Artists & Chefs Mexican Caribbean Wine Dinner at The Augustus
Coinciding with new online series filmed in Texas called ”Artists & Chefs” that explores places and spaces where art and food come together, this three-course dinner will come from chef Adam West of Local Yocal BBQ. A coastal-inspired menu will feature a beach-themed tablescape from episode 6 along with menu items like Gulf shrimp campechana, Wagyu bone marrow elote, and wood-grilled picanha-Yukon "tostone." McKinney-based Landon wines will be paired with each course. Dinner is $150, plus a service fee, and begins at 6 pm.
A Maker’s Mark Experience at The Statler
Downtown hotel will host a four-course cocktail pairing dinner featuring Maker’s Mark spirits in its LVI dining room. Menu items such as lamb loin medallions, beet carpaccio, duck confit, and dark chocolate panna cotta will be paired with cocktails by Bourbon & Banter, the hotel’s speakeasy. The dinner is $150, plus a service fee, and begins at 7 pm. The ticket also comes with a takeaway of the brand’s red wax-dipped glass, hand dipped on-site.
Rusty After Dark
Rusty Taco on Greenville Avenue is teaming up with Topo Chico to celebrate the location’s new late-night hours. Visit from 8 pm-midnight for Topo Chico cocktails, margarita pitchers with sparklers, DJ music, a custom trucker hat bar, and yard games. The party will happen again on Thursday, November 21.

All You Can Eataly: Holiday Extravaganza
Eataly’s biggest all-access party of the year happens Friday featuring unlimited food, drink, and entertainment. General admission tickets are $125 (plus tax and service fee) and include tastings of 30-plus Italian bites (including holiday-themed noshes like Vin Brule, panettone, and handmade agnolini), 30-plus wines, spirits, beers, live music from Emerald City Band, DJ tunes, and artisan holiday market. Entry times are 7 pm or 7:30 pm. Or pay $175 (plus tax and a service fee) and get early admission at 6 pm, premium sips and bites only available from 6-7 pm, and a tote bag with goodies from favorite Eataly producers.

15th Annual Blue, Bandits, and BBQ
Annual barbecue cookoff at Kidd Springs Park celebrates blues in the place that raised iconic musician Stevie Ray Vaughan. Tickets are $40 ($15 for kids) and include a barbecue plate, drink ticket, and one vote for the best backyard barbecue team. The event will run from 12–4 pm.
Friendsgiving Brunch at The Westin Dallas Stonebriar
Frisco hotel and resort will host a fall-inspired brunch buffet with a Friendsgiving theme. Guests will gather around one grand communal table to enjoy traditional Thanksgiving dishes like roasted turkey, stuffing, holiday ham, skillet green beans, candied yams, pecan pie, and more. The $50 price, plus tax and gratuity, includes two cocktails. The event will run from 12–2 pm.
In the Kitchen with Chef Ray at Onesan Dim Sum & Sushi
Learn how to fold and steam dim sum dishes during this hands-on class at the modern Asian restaurant on Inwood Road. Wines are included in the $75 price. The class will run from 1-3 pm.
Friendsgiving Wine Dinner at Landon Winery
McKinney winery will host a four-course Friendsgiving dinner with dishes from local chef Michael Mantilla. The menu includes lobster & shrimp bisque, salad, braised short ribs with whipped potatoes & seasonal vegetables, and apple pie a la mode with vanilla ice cream. All courses will be paired with a different Landon wine. Dinner is $122, plus a service fee, and begins at 6:30 pm. Reservations end Wednesday.
Monday, November 18
Tequila Dinner at Sevy’s Grill
Chef driven restaurant will host its first-ever tequila dinner, a four-course event featuring El Tequileno. Menu items include black bean pupusas, Gulf shrimp aguachiles, quail with red mole, black angus fajitas, and vanilla bean flan with tequila cajeta. Dinner is $95 plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.
