Joe V's Smart Shop by H-E-B sets date for store opening in East Dallas

Joe V's Smart Shop from H-E-B
There's an opening date for a new H-E-B related supermarket coming to Dallas: Joe V's Smart Shop by H-E-B, a spinoff concept from the H-E-B grocery chain, will open a location at 7700 Samuel Blvd. on Wednesday, March 26.
This will be the second Joe V’s Smart Shop location in DFW, following the first location which opened in Dallas in June 2024 at 4101 W. Wheatland Rd. — the first in Dallas and the first to open outside the Houston area, part of the concept's expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
According to a release, Joe V's will offer fresh high-quality products and the lowest prices in the marketplace. The company calls it "an innovative price format" — not discount, not "cheap," but "innovative."
Products include fresh produce, organics selections, in-store cut meats, in-store made tortillas, breads, and sushi made daily.
The store spans 55,000 square feet, which is the size of a regular supermarket, but half the size of the typical H-E-B store that has opened in the Dallas area since the chain began expanding in 2022 with the opening of its first DFW-area location in Frisco.
Joe V’s Smart Shop is part of H-E-B’s family of brands which also includes Central Market and Mi Tienda. The Joe V’s format launched in 2010 and currently has 10 stores in the Houston area and one in Dallas.
The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, March 26, at 7 am.
