Dallas chef Tiffany Derry to open Italian restaurant in Grand Prairie
Tiffany Derry is headed for Grand Prairie.
Dallas celebrity chef Tiffany Derry is bringing Italian to Grand Prairie: Derry and her partner Tom Foley of T2D Concepts (Roots Chicken Shak, Roots Southern Table) are expanding their Italian concept, Radici, with a location in Grand Prairie, set to open at the EpicCentral complex at 2979 SH 161.
According to a release, it'll open on April 15 — the second location of Radici, which debuted in Farmers Branch in May 2024.
Radici observes a dedication to tradition, with pastas made daily in an open kitchen, centered around a wood-fired grill. The menu is a reflection of Derry’s early career cooking in Italian kitchens, her travels in Italy, and the love she has for Italy’s regional cuisine.
“Italian food has played a big role in both my professional and personal culinary journey, and it has been so exciting to bring this concept to life over the last year, and now bring it to even more people,” Derry says in a statement. “I can’t wait to become part of the Grand Prairie community and serve up my style of Italian cooking while creating some fun, memorable experiences around the table.”
Foley, who oversees guest experience and atmosphere design, has created a warm and inviting space framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and burgundy hues—featuring even his own artwork.
Foley has his own Italian connection: His childhood was inspired by his mother’s roots in Balvano, Italy.
The main dining room boasts a striking vertical green wall, created in partnership with Queen’s Floral Design + Events, symbolizing Radici’s journey and growth. The space lends itself to private events and special occasions such as wedding celebrations and corporate gatherings.
“Our goal is to create unforgettable experiences, where every detail—from the dishes to the design—tells a story,” Foley says. "We’ve crafted a space that feels inviting, where guests can gather, celebrate, and create new traditions around our table. We’re thrilled to open our second location and bring the Grand Prairie community a true taste of Italy and our heartfelt hospitality."
