Dallas fashionistas fawn over designer looks at Outnet shopping fete
When we learned that Texas was one of The Outnet's largest markets, we were hardly surprised. Not only are Lone Star ladies among the world's best-dressed, but we also know how to shop smart.
If you have any doubt, just ask any one of the well-heeled women who attended the recent Dallas fete hosted by The Outnet, the online fashion outlet — sister site to Net-A-Porter — offering discounted designer womenswear and accessories.
In its first trip to Texas, the e-commerce site joined forces with The Coveteur, Courtney Kerr (What Courtney Wore), Jane Aldridge (Sea of Shoes) and Judy Aldridge (Atlantis Home) to present spring and summer trends at The Room on Main.
Outnet content director Njide Ugboma and Outnet style director Eve Thomas welcomednotable stylemakers — including Bag Snob Tina Craig, Southern Living editor-at-large Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Dallas stylist Amy Wells Havin — who perused looks from the site's Dress Me section. Fashions suited a variety of occasions, such as luxe traveler, cocktail hour, work, weekend, wedding and date night.
Spotted sipping vino and shopping via iPad were Teen Vogue's Naomi Nevitt, The Coveteur's Stephanie Mark, Krystal Schlegel, CultureMap fashion contributor Stephanie Quadri, Caitlyn Cowart and Ashley Aspinwall.
