Welcome BeGlammed
On-demand beauty app lures Dallas style setters to luxe launch party
Fashionable Dallasites gathered on The Joule Terrace recently to check out the latest in beauty trends: BeGlammed. The on-demand beauty service enlisted the help of Lynsey Eaton of Tomboy KC and Devon Dyer of Devon Rachel for its Dallas launch party.
BeGlammed hairstylists and makeup artists showed their skills at the Braid Bar and Lip Bar, respectively. While experiencing the services firsthand, guests — including Amy Havins, Julie Hawes, Holly Davis, Marjon Henderson, JB Hayes, Lynn McBee, David Novak, Holly Davis, Caroline Summers, Ashley Hunt, Capa Mooty, Jamie O’Banion, Merritt Beck, Cathy and Alex Williamson, Krystal Schlegel, Sunie Marchbanks, and Meghan Looney — sipped Austin Cocktails and listened to DJ Lucy Wrubel’s always on-point beats.
Founders Jocelyn Loo and Maile Pacheco joined forces to create BeGlammed after commiserating about the expense and inconvenience of getting their hair and makeup done. Loo, who has a background in finance and fashion, and Pacheco, who has extensive experience in the beauty and fashion industries (most recently with MAC Cosmetics), are passionate about bringing beauty to your doorstep.
So how does it work? Users can book hairstylists and makeup artists via a convenient app. Makeup application costs $85, while a basic blow-out costs $65. Makeup and hair packages start at $140. And the experts come to you.
A hair or makeup appointment will not exceed one hour; both can be done within 90 minutes. BeGlammed is now live in Dallas, and you can book an appointment from three hours to two months in advance.
