The 2019 Turtle Creek Tour of Homes will satisfy some pop-culture curiosity when doors open to a house that got its own storyline on The Real Housewives of Dallas: Stephanie and Travis Hollman will let the public peek inside their $5 million mansion.
On Season 2 of Real Housewives, Travis famously purchased the home behind Stephanie's back. Its most memorable (tacky? horrifying?) feature was a swimming pool in the main foyer, which she insisted be covered for the safety of their small children.
Actually, the home has a long and flashy history, which Dallas real estate diva Candy Evans chronicled on her site CandysDirt.com when the Hollmans bought it.
This year's tour will feature three high-rise residences and the Hollmans' single-family home. They are:
- 3816 Turtle Creek Blvd.
- 17th floor of The Warrington at 3831 Turtle Creek Blvd.
- 24th floor of The Warrington at 3831 Turtle Creek Blvd.
- 15th floor of The Vendome at 3505 Turtle Creek Blvd.
Following the tour, 1-5 pm April 7, a ticketed reception will take place from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Tickets start at $45 through March 31, and sales benefit The Turtle Creek Association, which is dedicated to preserving Turtle Creek. A limited number of after-party tickets are available for $125 each and will be sold on a first-come-first serve basis. A combination package of one home tour ticket and one after-party ticket may be purchased for $150.
