Dallas' first-ever fitness fest stretches into an all-out party
Food, music, art, entertainment, and the latest fitness trends — what's not to love? The first-ever FAME Fest Dallas (it stands for "fitness + arts + music + experience") is combining all these things into a weekend of healthy fun you won't want to miss.
Put on by Omni Dallas Hotel and Fitness Ambassadors, FAME Fest Dallas is happening September 27 from 5-10 pm and September 28 from 8 am-10 pm. Here's a rundown of all the cool things you can do, enjoy, and imbibe at the event.
Break a sweat
Fitness classes will take place from morning to night and will include everything from yoga, pilates, spin classes, boot camps, and more, all set to the tunes of Dallas' best DJs and local bands (including Larry g(EE) and Danni & Kris). Try work outs from TruFusion, BEYOND Studios, Zyn22, Vital Fitness, POUND, Class Studios, and The Sports Pod.
Eat and learn
Visit the vendor block party during breaks, where you can learn about a variety of health and wellness brands and stop into the recovery, refresh, and recharge lounge. Refuel with a snack from one of Omni's Restaurants on Lamar, or take part in pizza tossing, sushi rolling, and a mixology class, all costing between $5-$20 and can be purchased the day of.
Stay and play
Out of town guests can take advantage of the Omni Dallas Hotel's premium accommodations. You can get breakfast for two at Texas Spice, overnight self-parking, and a FAME Fest souvenir.
"This partnership between Omni Dallas and Fitness Ambassadors began in September of 2017, when we did a pop-up free yoga class on Pegasus Lawn," says Amber Bufkin, marketing manager for Omni Dallas Hotel. "Now we're throwing the biggest experiential festival Dallas has ever seen, with 130 spin bikes, delicious foodie experiences, live art, and local music, all in one spot. This is a FOMO event you can't miss."
"Our goal is to create an experience that really brings the community together by spotlighting amazing studios, local businesses, artists, and more," says Mai Lyn Ngo, founder and CEO of Fitness Ambassadors. "We are such a fit city with a really diverse fit culture and there are die-hard fans that want this. Dallas is ready. They just don't know it yet."

- Tickets are free for general admission to the Block Party on Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28.
- The VIP Studio Weekend Pass on Friday and Saturday is $125, and grants access to the Patron VIP lounge and an upgraded swag bag.
- A VIP Studio Pass for Friday only is $85 and includes the upgraded swag bag plus access to exclusive classes only available that day.
- A Studio Pass ticket is $55 for Saturday and includes a swag bag.
