Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Dallas right now: 6 must-hit stores for January
It's been a pretty sleepy month thus far on the Dallas shopping scene, but it makes sense given that most of us are still recovering from holiday overspending. There are a few new store openings though, and several great steals and deals to be had. Here's where to shop in Dallas this month:
Nordstrom
Starting the week of January 16, Nordstrom will feature a carefully curated collection of Jack Erwin men's footwear including the Joe, Noah, Abe, Mitch, and Adam. This is the brand's first and only wholesale partnership of its shoes, which value thoughtful design, quality materials, and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Lovely Bride
This national, boho bridal chain recently opened its first location in Dallas, offering more than 150 dresses dedicated to the bride who wants to be different. The goal of this glam boutique is to offer lesser known, but equally gorgeous, brands including Kate McDonald, Chosen by One Day, and Savannah Miller. Veils, belts, and other bridal accessories are also available in the shop. You can book 90-minute appointments online or over the phone.
Louis Vuitton
One year after the launch of its global partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Louis Vuitton launches its first #makeapromise day to raise funds for children in urgent need through its global network of stores. To get involved, visit Louis Vuitton Northpark to purchase the specially designed UNICEF silver locket pendant and/or bracelet starting at $500, with $200 being donated to UNICEF. This philanthropic event is happening on January 12 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sabah House
Swing by this new shop in the historic State Thomas neighborhood to get a pair of "slipper shoes" handmade in Turkey. Artisans use naturally tanned water buffalo leather for an ultra-comfortable fit that molds to the wearer’s feet, resulting in the slippers only getting cozier with time. Cost is $190, but these bad boys are built to last.
Tootsies
Don't miss the mid-winter Tootsies Takes Off Sale, now through January 14, to score up to 75 percent off your favorite designer collections, dresses, shoes, handbags, accessories, and more. Brands featured in the sale include Alice + Olivia, Theory, Vince, and more.
West Coast Vibes
Do you crave Kitson and fancy Fred Segal but hate having to trek to California to snag the goodies? Dallas' Lori Landes recently opened up her passion project in Snider Plaza. The shop features all of the West Coast brands she loves but was unable to find in Dallas. Carrying both tween sizes (7-14) and women’s, expect casual, laid-back, and comfortable pieces from over 67 designer labels.
