Shopping Excitement
It's about to get easier to buy Chanel and Hermes at a discount in Dallas
Chic Chicago import Luxury Garage Sale has found a permanent home in Dallas: Snider Plaza. This is the second bricks-and-mortar location for the premier consignment service and boutique, and it’s expected to open in late summer 2015 at 6805 Snider Plaza.
“Luxury Garage Sale prides itself on redefining consignment as a luxury experience,” co-founder Brielle Buchberg told us back in March. “When you walk into our store, all traditional notions of overcrowded consignment shopping go away.”
The 1,500-square-foot boutique, named LGS, will house a collection of designer merchandise, with a focus on new items with tags. In addition, shoppers can find vintage and gently used luxury clothing and accessories from such haute labels as Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Celine and Oscar de la Renta. Hands-on stylists and well-merchandised racks ensure a positive shopping experience.
Those interested in consignment can also drop off their pieces at the new store. Items are inventoried, authenticated, photographed, listed online and showcased in the boutique. Once something sells, the consignor gets paid, and Luxury Garage Sale takes a 40 percent commission.
Dallas women have already gotten a taste of the Luxury Garage Sale experience, as there have been pop-up shops around town at Mecox, Ceylon et Cie and Traffic Los Angeles since March.
