Bauble Alert
New Dallas boutique for affordable accessories takes its name seriously
A new Dallas boutique has a story that reads a lot like a modern business fairy tale. Accessory Concierge was one of the first flash-sale Facebook pages, and now it’s a brick-and-mortar destination on Lovers Lane in the Park Cities.
Co-founders Amy Coffey and Amy Claro decided over lunch one day to leave corporate America and go into business for themselves. F-commerce soon evolved into e-commerce, and the shop just opened this month, at 4239 Lovers Ln.
“We love the support that this area of town gives shop owners,” Coffey says. “We really look forward to meeting all of our customers and helping them try on their favorite pieces in person.”
With baubles, trinkets, scarves, and clutches that run anywhere from $25 to $50, it’s impossible to walk out of Accessory Concierge empty-handed. At the necklace bar, customers can build their own necklaces with the assistance of either Amy, or they can bring in their newest party dress for personalized accessory pairings.
“We do a lot of wedding parties too,” Coffey says. “Brides come in and pick everything out for their bridesmaids. It’s a lot of fun.”
The duo has put the “concierge” part of Accessory Concierge to work: The blog is a prime example of their mission to advise shoppers on the best ways to beautify every part of their lives. Expansion plans only help to reinforce their passion.
Keep an eye out for the pair’s own line of jewelry, in store now, as well as gifts and accessories from their upcoming collaboration with Scarlet & Gold.
“It’s always nice to have someone help guide you to finding great stuff,” Coffey says. And that’s just what Dallas girls get at Accessory Concierge, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
