9 new and noteworthy stores coming soon to Dallas
Editor's note: If there is one thing we know how to do in this town, it’s shop. Lucky for you, there soon will be more places than ever to do just that.
Get ready to kick back at L.bartlett Shoes opening November 28, with names like Sam Edelman, Dolce Vita and Boutique 9 in store, as well as trendy clothing and accessories by J Brand, French Connection, Mara Hoffman and Rebecca Minkoff.
The second Dallas (proper) location of Drybar opened November 2, across from the old Victoria’s Secret space. BTW, it’s the largest in the nation, with 17 chairs. Picture-perfect hair for $35? Yes, please.
With ski season quickly approaching, we’re eager for the opening of The North Face — the only store in Texas — set to open November 17. We’ve got eyes for colorful fleece pullovers, warm earmuffs and an energy yellow insulated ski jacket.
If you’re a fan of fine timepieces, then we are happy to tell you that TAG Heuer and Omega arrive at NorthPark November 15 and 20, respectively — just in time for the holidays. Hublot is fast on their heels, opening in January 2013.
Highland Park Village
Fashionistas may feel the sting of losing Barneys next spring, but we suggest they head to Highland Park Village to nurse those wounds. Christian Dior will move into this fashion mecca February 2013, followed closely by the first-ever Texas boutique for Alexander McQueen.
Saint Laurent Paris is also joining the uber-chic lineup at HP Village. And Hermes hopes to get a second story.
