Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Dallas right now: 9 new stores for November
November is all about gratitude and one thing we are always thankful for in Dallas is the abundance of amazing shopping. This month is no different with great pop-ups, new stores, and amazing collaborations.
Augustinus Bader
The luxury leader in high-performance skincare has opened a temporary store in the West Village adjacent to Sephora. The 1,000 square foot pop-up includes two treatment rooms and an expansive retail area. It is set to stay open until January 2024.
Bachendorf's
The Bock family entered in to a new chapter at The Galleria Dallas opening up at 7,000-square-foot boutique showcasing the timeless luxury that shoppers have come to know and expect from the brand that specializes in a customer-centric shopping experience. The boutique has an enhanced bridal atelier and the exclusive Rolex Shop-In-Shop.
Chubbies
Southlake Town Square is having a serious moment this fall with yet another opening, this time Chubbies, a casual men’s apparel brand from Austin whose claim to fame is that it sells shorts at the "proper" length, whether that's for the golfer, workout warrior, vacationer, or couch captain. They have a fun, youthful persona, describing themselves as "the official outfitters of Friday at 5 pm."
Forth & Nomad
Youthful fashion and lifestyle brand from Houston that sells clothes and home goods has
opened a storefront in the currently very buzzy West Village. They describe themselves as similar to Goop in that they promote "mindful consumption." Best-sellers include a Mother of Pearl Initial Gold Necklace, a puffy mini tote bag, and a variety of tops ranging from tube to tank. West Village is the first store in Dallas as well as the first outside Houston.
Frances Valentine
American lifestyle fashion and accessories brand has opened at the Plaza at Preston Center, hyping its goal to foster joy via bold prints and colors. Its lineup includes dresses, caftans, coats, sweaters, skirts, pants, jumpsuits, pajamas, hats, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and even home goods. It's a new option if you're seeking comfortable-yet-festive party wear for the holidays. Dallas is the second location in Texas, following Houston which opened in 2021.
J. Crew
Classic yet affordable brand hit a rough patch in 2020, filing for bankruptcy and executing some store closures, so there was an uneasy shudder when the NorthPark location closed in early 2023. In good news, the store, located on level one between Macy's and Dillard's, has reopened with a newly remodeled design and a revamp of its clothes for men, women, and children that is being applauded for its return to its tasteful preppy style.
Louis Vuitton
The Galleria Dallas debuts one of its crown jewel boutiques this week as the iconic Louis Vuitton store is now reopened with an expanded footprint and a refreshed look. The boutique boasts double the square footage and is offering a suite of métiers including accessories, fragrance, jewelry, leather goods and more for both men and women.
Southern Tide
East Coast lifestyle and apparel brand has found its way to Southlake Town Center, its first location in Texas. Would we be making a generalization to say that every man that picks up a pair of Chubbies should stop at Southern Tide and pick up a polo to complete the look? In addition to fashion for men, this boutique also offers items for women and children, as well as to beach and home decor.
Trina Turk
Park Cities shoppers were sad to see this iconic women's boutique jump ship from Highland Park Village, but now it resurfaces at the West Village, where it has more room for its glamorous ready-to-wear women's apparel, infused with bold signature prints, colors, and patterns. The shop, which is one of only six in the U.S., also holds a Mr Turk collection, and a larger assortment of swimwear, sleepwear, and home goods.
