Everyone will find something they like to eat in this week’s food events roundup. There's ice cream, wine, beer, chocolate, and okra on full display for all to enjoy. And if you like your food accompanied by a little football, you can make your way to a philanthropic feast before the Cowboys take the field.

The Ultimate Adult Ice Cream Social at Remedy
The evening starts with beverage director Máté Hartai explaining his master process for making everything from sodas to syrups before toasting with a few of his signature drinks. Executive chef Danyele McPherson then talks all things frosty and sweet and what it takes to craft the perfect frozen treat. Sample her signature ice cream and taste the difference with build-your-own ice cream sundaes. The event starts at 6 pm, and tickets are $50.

Sommelier Selected Wine Tasting at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse
Whether cutting-edge or classic, the new wines these sommeliers are finding ignite their passion and pique their curiosity. This tasting event highlights some of Pappas Bros. current favorites, including wines from Australia, Hungary, Italy, Spain, and South Africa. Heavy hors d’oeuvre accompany each flight. The event starts promptly at 6 pm and costs $65. Reservations can be made by calling 214-366-2000.

Brewfest 2015 at Dallas Farmers Market
This outdoor beer-sampling event and festival features more than 200 beers from around the globe, local food vendors, and live music. Twelve 2-ounce beer samples are included in the ticket price, and VIP tickets include a dozen 2-ounce beer samplings plus entry into event one hour earlier at 6 pm and access to the VIP area with liquor sampling and exclusive catered food. The event starts at 7 pm for general admission, and tickets start at $31.
Dallas Chocolate Festival at Addison Conference Center
Celebrate chocolate makers and chocolatiers that have elevated their craft to an art form. The event showcases everything from beautifully painted bonbons to imaginative chocolate sculptures and several bean-to-bar artisans in between. Vendors include CocoAndré Chocolatier, Dallas Caramel Company, Toffee Treats, Chocolates El Rey, Nib Chocolates, and Bisous Bisous Patisserie. The 2:30 pm entry time still has tickets for sale for $25. This event usually sells out, so don't delay in buying your tickets.

Okrapalooza at The Lot
At this veggie-centric event, Dallas celebrity chefs come together to compete in an okra cookoff. All proceeds benefit the Promise of Peace Community Gardens, which provides horticulture programming and education to at-risk youth, communities, and families within Dallas. The event starts at 1 pm, and tickets cost $45.
Touchdown Tailgate Tasting at Expressions Home Gallery
Local chefs battle it out in the kitchen to put their spin on traditional tailgate food. Participating chefs include Anastacia Quinones (Kitchen LTO), Danyele McPherson (Remedy), Jacob Williamson (Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck), Nathan Tate (Rapscallion), and Patton Robertson (Sissy’s Southern Kitchen). Specialty cocktails are being crafted by Leprechaun Premium Hard Cider and Reilly’s Whiskey. All proceeds benefit Cafe Momentum. The event starts at 1 pm, and tickets are $50.
