Sixty Vines wine

Time for brunch.

Sixty Vines

The official start of summer arrives this weekend, and there's an all-day brunch to celebrate. But first, a top-notch Creole chef will visit town for a Juneteenth dinner party, a modern Mexican restaurant will host a tequila pairing dinner, and a historic downtown square will keep folks caffeinated with a coffee crawl. End the week by learning to make pasta and toss pizza dough.

Wednesday, June 18

Café Momentum Dallas Juneteenth Takeover Featuring Chef Dom Lee
Acclaimed New Orleans chef Dominick Lee will visit Café Momentum in Dallas for a one-night pop-up in celebration of Juneteenth. The three-course menu will include gombo Africana, muffuletta porchetta, and sweet potato pecan pie. Beer and wine are included in the $90 price (plus tax and fee). Dinner begins at 6 pm.

Murder Mystery at Bourbon & Banter
Speakeasy beneath The Statler hotel will host a three-course, interactive murder mystery dinner. (Watch out – the killer could be sitting right next to you.) The menu includes a charcuterie board starter, choice of garlic chicken and pappardelle or flat iron steak frites, and bourbon bread pudding. Tickets are $70 (plus tax and fee) and the dinner will run from 7–9 pm.

Thursday, June 19

Flecha Azul Tequila Dinner at Cantina Laredo
The Frisco outlet of the modern Mexican restaurant will host a four-course tequila pairing dinner that will start with a flight of Flecha Azul tequila. Menu items include sope de carnitas, shaved Brussels sprouts salad, choice of chile lime New York strip or shrimp with pineapple guajillo sauce, and Mexican bread pudding. Each course will come with a different tequila cocktail. Dinner is $80 plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 7 pm.

Saturday, June 21

Summer Coffee Crawl in Downtown McKinney
This walking coffee experience will offer caffeinated fun at downtown McKinney coffee spots. Themed “Café Cabana,” the guided sip-and-stroll includes six stops for tropical-themed iced coffee creations and a sweet treat along the way. The $42 price (fees included) also includes a Café Cabana mug, a coupon book, and discounts on future crawls. Start times are 8 am, 10:30 am, and 11:30 am.

Flowers, Flights and Facets at The Stoneleigh
This luxe sip-and-shop event will take place on the historic 11th floor of The Stoneleigh hotel. Partake in a flight of Flowers Vineyards wines, including chardonnay, pinot noir, and rose, then shop vendors such as Her Story, Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott, Elizabeth Martin, and more. Tickets are $84 (including tax and fees) and include the wine flight plus a bonus pour and valet parking. The event will run from 1–4 pm.

Summer Solstice Celebration at Sixty Vines
To welcome the start of summer (and the longest day of the year), both locations of Sixty Vines (Uptown and Plano) will host a brunch celebration featuring frozen frosé pouches, an Aperol Spritz station with craft cocktails, live DJ music, a flower pop-up, and seasonal swag. Visit the coastal cowboy hat bar to design your own hat with beaded band ($12) and purchase any wine flight to receive a take-home wine charm. The celebration will run from 10 am–4 pm.

Sunday, June 22

An innovative chef known for blending Nigerian heritage with Italian culinary traditions is bringing his acclaimed dining experience to Dallas: Chef Tayo Ola, founder of The Ebi-Ayo Supper Club, will host two intimate dinners at Lo’ & Rosie Creative Studio in Oak Cliff on August 21 and 22, marking the Dallas debut of the traveling supper club.

The Dallas experience is part of Ebi-Ayo’s 2026 Southern Tour, which also includes stops in Houston and Atlanta. The supper club has previously hosted dinners in New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. The dinners regularly attract celebrity clientele, such as Lupita Nyong'o and Janelle James.

The six-course, family-style dinner in an intimate setting is designed to foster conversation, discovery, and connection, a release says.

The dinners will reflect the personal story of Chef Ola, he says. Raised in Nigeria, Ola moved to the U.S. in 1998, where his first taste of Italian food sparked a passion for the cuisine and inspired subsequent travels throughout Italy. That journey inspired a unique culinary style that bridges his Nigerian heritage with Italian traditions.

Named for the Yoruba words Ebi (family) and Ayo (joy), the supper club was created to celebrate culture, community, and connection through shared meals, the chef says.

The Dallas menu will feature dishes such as tuna crudo with mango pepper sauce and fried sweet plantain; lobster and egusi beurre blanc puff pastry topped with caviar; and creamy goat cheese jollof risotto with braised oxtail.

The evening will also include handcrafted mezcal cocktails from LNK Mezcal, which is serving as an event partner.

“Bringing Ebi-Ayo to Dallas is about more than introducing a menu; it's about creating the kind of table where culture, fellowship, and joy can be experienced together,” Ola says in the release. “My cooking reflects both my Nigerian roots and the Italian food that became part of my story after moving to America.”

The supper club chose Lo’ & Rosie Creative Studio, a design-focused event venue at 1515 S. Ewing Ave. in Oak Cliff, as the setting for the Dallas debut. The venue hosts private dinners, celebrations, brand experiences, and community gatherings.

Tickets are $250 per person and include the six-course dinner and cocktails. The event is for guests ages 21 and older, and reservations are required. As space is limited, early booking is recommended. Reservations can be made through the event website.
