H-E-B continues Dallas expansion with 3 new supermarkets in the suburbs

H-E-B recently opened this store in Frisco.
Texas supermarket chain H-E-B continues its Dallas-Fort Worth expansion, with three new stores in the works.
According to a release, the retailer is opening stores in Melissa, Prosper, and Rockwall.
This comes just as the chain is about to open a new store in Allen, at 575 E. Exchange Pkwy., which will take place on Wednesday, October 4.
Stores in Melissa, Prosper, and Rockwall will be at the following locations:
- H-E-B Melissa- Northeast Corner US 75 and Highway 121
- H-E-B Prosper- Southeast corner Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway
- H-E-B Rockwall- Southwest corner John King Boulevard and I30
These stores are expected to open in 2025. More information will be released at their respective groundbreakings early next year.
In the DFW area, H-E-B already has opened stores in Frisco, Plano, and McKinney. Other H-E-B stores the retailer has officially announced for the Metroplex are in Alliance/Fort Worth and Mansfield.
They also plan to open two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas. Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B is a lower-priced format with a smaller assortment of products.
At the soon-to-open Allen store, customers who want to get a head start on shopping can begin to schedule orders for H-E-B Curbside pickup, starting Monday, October 2 at 1 am. Orders can be scheduled for pickup on opening day or up to seven days in advance.
At 117,000 square feet, the H-E-B Allen store will showcase all the quality products and innovative services H-E-B customers have come to love and expect, including a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru, Curbside and Home Delivery service, H-E-B Wellness Primary Care clinic, and a True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru.
