Charitable Viktor & Rolf designers lure haute Dallas shoppers to Forty Five Ten
Just in time for Dallas Art Fair and Art Ball, Viktor & Rolf designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren visited Forty Five Ten to share a lot more than their contemporary clothing collection.
Fashion mastermind Brian Bolke hosted a soirée to celebrate the designers' fall 2013 runway collection and to honor patrons of Bespoke, the Dallas Contemporary's signature fundraising event. (Mark your calendar for May 4.) Ten percent of proceeds from the trunk show that evening helped to fill the Contemporary's coffers.
In addition to Viktor & Rolf's generous gift to the Dallas art institution, the designers created 45 special bangles exclusive to Forty Five Ten. All proceeds from those purchases will be donated to Fifty Nine Foundation, the nonprofit founded by Bolke as a tribute to his late business partner, Shelly Musselman.
Fifty Nine Foundation raises awareness about the dangers, treatment and prevention of brain aneurysms. Bangles are still available at Forty Five Ten for $195 each.
To top off their philanthropic deeds,Horsting and Snoeren donated an Adventures in Amsterdam with Viktor & Rolf live auction package to Untitled: Art Ball 2013, the largest fundraiser for the Dallas Museum of Art.
