And the countdown begins. Just 15 days before the Celebrity Waiter Luncheon benefiting Family Gateway, supporters gathered at Tootsies for a fabulous fashion show featuring designs by Cut 25. A mix of men and women dressed in chic attire made their way to the second floor for wine and sangria before 14 of Dallas’ social butterflies strutted their stuff for a crowd of more than 200 people.
Celebrity waiters at this year’s luncheon include Matt Nordgren, Dee Lincoln, CultureMap contributor Candy Evans, Marc Colombo, Joyce Goss, Scott Murray, Tracy Rathbun, Ryan Neufeld, Ron Corning and Jody Dean. Only a few of the waiters were seen at the fete, but supporters eagerly anticipate the tableside antics that are sure to ensue at the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Lots of laughs are expected.
Who had the sassiest walk? Shay Geyer and Maggie Cooke Kipp, the luncheon co-chairs, who radiated with extreme excitement. Additional catwalkers — Ashley Burghardt, Courtney Kerr, Shona C. Gilbert, Lindsay Jacaman, Steve Kemble, Dawn Neufeld, LeeAnne Locken, Fiona Gorostiza, Dawn Mellon, Jamie Singer, Amy Vanderoef and Hilari Younger — posed, twirled, smiled and certainly owned it.
