Every girl dreams of being a ballerina, especially after her first Nutcracker. So Stanley Korshak gave pretty little Dallas tots a reason to smile at the second annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea.
Hosted by the daughters of the ladies on the Tutu-Chic Fashion Show and Luncheon committee, the fete was held during tea time at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek for all Tutu-Chic invitees and their girls. A representative at Korshak said the event was such a success — with more than 60 children and their moms — that they had to move the party into a larger room.
As adults sipped wine, the mini-mes indulged in hot chocolate and tea — talk about sophisticated. In between coloring at the festive tables — and noshing on grilled cheese sandwiches, PB&J and assorted cookies — girls and their moms posed with members of the Nutcracker, including Clara, soldier nutcrackers, rats and the most beloved Sugar Plum Fairy.
On their way out, the "too too" chic attendees — including Sunie Solomon, Paige Slates, Merry Wyatt, Kate Rose Marquez, Ann Marie Marthens, Kathryn Beach, Lee Bailey, Christina White and Cameron Westcott — and their daughters picked up goody bags and copies of The Making of the Nutcracker.
