This lineup is not for the weak at heart. We are starting out strong with a wine tasting on Thursday and headed straight into bourbon and cigars on Friday. The weekend is for the foodies with two epic festivals, and things simmer down with a calming class of cognac (or two) by the time Monday rolls around. Sounds perfect, right?

Campo Viejo Sensory Wine Tasting at Jasper's Uptown
The Jasper’s Uptown team and Campo Viejo wine ambassador, Lauren King, present a sensory wine tasting in which participants rely on their sense of smell and taste to sample wines. This teaches guests to learn their unique taste preferences and find wines they love. Tickets are $35 and the event starts at 6 pm.

Woodinville Bourbon & Cigar Pairing at Cool River
On the first Friday of each month, Cool River Cafe hosts a bourbon tasting and cigar event in the Cigar and Cognac Lounge. This week, a representative from Woodinville Whiskey Co. will be on hand to discuss and offer samples of featured pours paired with hors d'oeuvres created by chef Fernando Rodriguez. Lady M Cake Boutique Spring 2020 Pop-Up
New York-based cake brand known for its famous Mille Crepes hosts a three-day pop-up with four flavors: Signature Mille Crepes, Green Tea Mille Crepes, Earl Grey Mille Crepes, and Pistachio Mille Crepes. Earl Grey Mille Crepes showcase Earl Grey tea in three forms: infused into layers of pastry cream, as a glaze, and as crushed tea leaves ringing the surface of the cake. Pistachio Mille Crepes features pistachio paste whipped into pastry cream and layered with crepes. Slices are available for on-site purchase; first come, first served. Bonne Santè: A Food and Wine Showcase at Westin Galleria Dallas
Top chefs from Dallas-Fort Worth and around the country prepare delicious bites complemented with fine wines in this 10th annual event. This is the signature event of the National Kidney Foundation and allows for those in support of the cause to mix and mingle while eating beautiful bites and delicious drinks. Tickets start at $200 and the event starts at 6:30 pm.
Kamado 101 with Doug Pickering at Premier Grilling Frisco
Learn the basics of Kamado-style grills from Doug Pickering, co-founder of Ferris Wheelers Backyard BBQ, in this informal and fun class that covers and demonstrates lighting, maintaining temperature, cleaning, grilling, smoking, and baking. Tickets are $99 and the class lasts from 10 am to 1 pm.

Dallas Filipino Food Festival
This inaugural festival features food vendors including Not Your Lola's, Marie's Kitchen, Ulam Modern Filipino Kitchen, Hella Lumpia, Bilao, and Stephen Smith from Outlawed Ice Cream. This festival is free to attend and starts at noon. It takes place at Four Corners Brewing Co.

Specialty Branson Cognac Cocktail and Dinner
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is teaming up with chef Richard Chamberlain for a four-course meal paired with Jackson's Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne and Branson Cognac. The rapper turned businessman is expected to dine with guests and to help Chef prepare a dish during the cooking demonstration. Tickets are $195 and the event begins at 6:30 pm.
