    Where To Shop Now

Where to shop in Dallas right now: 10 must-hit stores for July

    Diana Oates
    Jul 3, 2015 | 12:00 pm

A fresh crop of stores has sprouted in Dallas, while a few old favorites are offering something new. This is where to wear out your credit cards this month.

    Accessory Concierge
What started as one of the first flash-sale Facebook pages is now a brick-and-mortar shopping destination on Lovers Lane. The shop offers baubles, trinkets, scarves and clutches that range in price from $25 to $50. Don’t leave without visiting the necklace bar, where you can build you own jeweled adornment. You can also bring in a party dress for personalized accessory pairings.

    Anteks Curated
Owner Jason Lenox’s cool home accessories line, J. Alexander, has been picked up by The Smithsonian. The collection includes boxes in various sizes, candlestick holders, cigar ashtrays, wine coasters, vanity trays, napkin holders, ring holders, letter openers, matchbox covers, tissue box covers, picture frames and vanity mirrors. Prices range from $69 to $495.

    BCBGeneration
The brand claims to be "the perfect blend of femininity and toughness, both contemporary and timeless." The Galleria store is the first in Dallas, offering the signature quirky prints, flirty silhouettes and luxe fabrics.

    Embree & Lake
Marc Lake has modernized the 54-year-old antique shop, first by changing the name from Donald J. Embree Antiques to Embree & Lake. The venerated Donald Embree Antiques focused on 18th- and 19th-century antiques, and when Lake took over, he carried on the legacy by incorporating more current pieces, including modern art.

    Hess
If it’s been a while since you visited this Lakewood store, you may want to put it back into the rotation. Newly remodeled, it features even more coveted home decor, like a summer art profile series. You can even pick up fresh flowers and a bottle of bubbly.

    Luxury Garage Sale
After a series of pop-ups, this Chicago import has found a permanent home in Snider Plaza. The 1,500-square-foot luxury consignment boutique features designer clothing and accessories — some new, with tags still on, as well as vintage and gently used — from Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Celine and Oscar de la Renta.

    Pandora
A charming new shop is coming to NorthPark Center, where you can find hand-finished jewelry in sterling silver, 14-karat gold and Pandora Rose accented with precious gemstones. Bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings are designed to be combined, matched, layered or stacked.

can be combined, matched, layered and stacked to create a uniquely personal expression - See more at: https://www.northparkcenter.com/stores/northpark-pandora-opening-spring-2015#sthash.3Icv5EB9.dpuf

    Planet Blue
The California-based retailer is planting roots in Texas in the former Trunk Club space on Henderson Avenue. Everything has a Cali-cool vibe, with lines like Blue Life, For Love and Lemons, Stone Cold Fox, Nightcap, Free People, and Mara Hoffman. Prices range from around $85 to $495, and you can score dresses, rompers, jumpsuits and accessories.

    Traffic LA
Dsquared2 takes over the pop-up space formerly occupied by Comme des Garcon Play. This curated collection features men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories collections. This pop-up is the only place in Dallas to find the women’s collection and Italian-crafted shoes. You’ve got a year to visit the pop-up, so save up so you can splurge.

    Trina Turk
Design maven Trina Turk recently visited her Dallas boutique at Highland Park Village to celebrate her brand’s 20th anniversary. Turk created special prints to mark the milestone, used throughout the bold and vibrant ready-to-wear garments women have come to know and love.

A new store with brand name active and outdoor gear at low prices is coming to Dallas: Sierra, which is sort of like the TJ Maxx version of an outdoor equipment store, will open a location at The Village at Allen, at 170 E. Stacy Rd. #2030.

This is only the second location for Sierra, following its recent Texas debut in San Antonio. According to a release, it'll open on Saturday, October 18 with a grand opening celebration starting at 8 am, including DJ, giveaways, and a hidden tag activity offering a chance to win a Sierra gift card.

Sierra is the go-to destination for value on top active and outdoor brands, with savings of up to 20–60 percent less than department and specialty store prices. They sell gear for every outdoor pursuit, whether it’s a leisurely neighborhood walk, cycling along The Allen Bike Trail, or golfing at Watters Creek.

The company was founded in 1986 and is part of The TJX Companies, Inc., the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide, whose subsidiaries include T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Winners, and TK Maxx.

There are currently 138 Sierra stores selling apparel, footwear, and gear for the whole family. Some of the current finds include GoreTex jackets, Perrin hiking boots, Adidas duffel bags, Sherpa sweaters, North Face ski pants, Frye knee-high harness boots, Free People denim jackets, Pendleton rain boots, Carhartt beanies, and more.

“We’re excited to bring the Sierra experience to more Texans with our new store in Allen, extending our reach to the greater Dallas-Fort Worth community,” says Sierra Assistant marketing VP Amanda Johnson in a statement. "Sierra is committed to making active lifestyles accessible for everyone. From outdoor adventures to everyday activities, our goal is to provide premium apparel, footwear and gear at prices that make staying active simple and attainable."
