The latest event cancellations in Dallas-Fort Worth due to coronavirus

As concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus and government restrictions on group gatherings continue, more event cancellations and postponements are being announced every day in Dallas-Fort Worth. In an effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible, we'll compile a list of different announcements every week.
Note: Given the pace at which things are happening during these times, cancellations are coming at a rapid clip. To be sure you're up to speed, you may want to check with the presenting organization or venue regarding the status of any particular event.
Dallas
- Adam Ant: This concert, scheduled for April 28 at Majestic Theatre, has been rescheduled for September 16.
- The Avett Brothers: This concert, scheduled for May 1 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, has been rescheduled for June 20.
- Black Violin: The hip hop classical duo, scheduled for April 5 at Winspear Opera House, has been rescheduled for February 6, 2021.
- Brooks & Dunn: This concert, scheduled for June 5 at Dos Equis Pavilion, has been rescheduled for October 30.
- Chris Stapleton's All-American Roadshow: This concert, originally scheduled for March 14 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, has been rescheduled for November 21.
- Colin Hay: The former frontman of Men at Work, scheduled to perform at Majestic Theatre on May 10, has rescheduled the concert for May 9, 2021.
- Dallas Summer Musicals: The production of Rent, scheduled for April 14-19, has been postponed to an undetermined date.
- David Foster with Katherine McPhee: This concert, scheduled for May 14 at Majestic Theatre, has been rescheduled for January 16, 2021.
- Eagles: The postponed concert on March 17 at American Airlines Center has been rescheduled for October 21.
- Hasan Minhaj: The appearance of the host of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, scheduled for April 23 at Winspear Opera House, has been rescheduled for June 7.
- Juliette Fowler Communities presents Visionary Women Luncheon: The charity event, scheduled for May 1 with Leeza Gibbons as keynote speaker, has been canceled.
- Jenna Bush Hager: The appearance of Hager, scheduled for April 25 at Winspear Opera House, has been rescheduled for October 4.
- Middleditch and Schwartz: The appearance by improv comedians Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz, scheduled for April 26 at Majestic Theatre, has been rescheduled for September 18.
- Roger Waters: The co-founder of Pink Floyd has postponed his 2020 tour, including the October 3 date at American Airlines Center, to 2021.
- Sturgill Simpson: The country singer, who had rescheduled his March 27 concert to May 30, has postponed his entire tour to undetermined dates in the fall.
- Tanya Tucker in concert: The legendary country singer, originally scheduled to play at The Kessler on March 26, has rescheduled the concert for August 27.
- Texas Ballet Theater: The ballet company has canceled the final event of its 2019-2020 season, A Midsummer Night's Dream, scheduled for May 15-17 at Winspear Opera House.
- Texas Frightmare Weekend: The horror convention, scheduled for May 1-3 at Hyatt Regency DFW Airport, has been rescheduled for September 11-13.
- Theatre Three: The production of The Elephant Man, scheduled for April 9-May 3, has been postponed to an undetermined date.
Fort Worth
- Amphibian Stage Productions: The theater company has postponed Egress, scheduled for May 1-24, to October 28-November 15. The Amazing, Fabulous, and Spectacular Untruths of Don Juan Garcia, which had been scheduled for those dates, will be shifted to the 2021 season. All Comedy Residencies, Metamorphosis New Play Development projects, and National Theatre Live screenings through May 15 will be rescheduled for later in the year.
- Billy Bob's Texas: All concerts through the month of April have been postponed.
- Five Finger Death Punch: This concert, scheduled for April 14 at Dickies Arena, has been rescheduled for October 11.
- Mayfest: The annual spring festival, scheduled for May 2-5, has been canceled. It will return in 2021.
- River & Blues Festival: The music festival, scheduled for May 15 and 16 at Panther Island Pavilion, has been rescheduled for November 13 and 14.
- Texas Ballet Theater: The ballet company has canceled the final event of its 2019-2020 season, A Midsummer Night's Dream, scheduled for May 8-10 at Bass Performance Hall.
