Cocktail King
Let's have a toast to the best new cocktail bar in Dallas

We asked CultureMap readers to choose the best new cocktail bar in Dallas, and Parliament garnered 39 percent of the votes to take first place in the poll. Opened by Eddie “Lucky” Campbell in August 2014, the Uptown den is devoted to creating some of the most imaginative and unique cocktails Dallas has ever seen, and already it has developed a cult-like following of drinkers.
Putting up a fight for the title, Henry’s Majestic came in second, with 34 percent. The joint may be the newest among the contenders, but head barman Alex Fletcher brought his experience from Victor Tangos and the People’s Last Stand with him, and it shows.
Third place went Midnight Rambler, the downtown spot that resides underneath The Joule. Designed by Chad Solomon and Christy Pope, it is an immensely fun salon that delivers on drinks without taking itself too seriously.
Rounding out the six contenders were Barter, Bowen House and Proof+Pantry. Not only do these establishments deserve your patronage, but they also are proof that Parliament had some heady competition.
