Newest restaurant concept in Dallas' Harwood district is a stately pub
The ever-prolific Harwood International is adding another new restaurant concept to its portfolio: Called Harwood Arms, it's a casual pub that aspires to exemplify the best of the British Isles.
Located in the thick of the Harwood district at 2850 N. Harwood St., it'll open in spring 2020, according to a representative from the company.
Harwood Arms joins an ever-growing Harwood Hospitality Group family that includes Dolce Riviera, The Grove at Harwood, Happiest Hour, Magnolias: Sous Le Pont, Marie Gabrielle Restaurant and Gardens, Mercat Bistro, Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar, and the most recently opened spot, Te Deseo.
The family includes nearly every cuisine, from Latin to French to Italian, but thus far had no representation of the pub concept. That gap has now been filled.
Harwood Arms is described as a tastefully casual pub exemplifying the best food, beverage, and design curated from international travels.
While details on the menu are still scant, it'll embrace all of your United Kingdom pub staples, including pints of Guinness, whiskeys, and fish & chips.
Perhaps not coincidentally, there is a gastropub called Harwood Arms located in London.
Featuring a crimson façade, the Dallas Harwood Arms will be located on La Rue Perdue, a whimsical cobblestone alleyway located at the base of the office tower dubbed Harwood No. 10, and located in the 19-city-block Harwood District.
Harwood International seems to have an infinite well of ambition, and this pub is not the end of it. According to a release, other new culinary experiences in development include a sushi bar and a Thai restaurant. Harwood International also recently broke ground on a 21-story boutique hotel, which will also be operated by Harwood Hospitality Group.
