Tres francaise! Second Floor at Westin Galleria Dallas opens private dining roomPrivé
The Second Floor Bistro at the Westin Galleria Dallas has a new private dining room for parties and events, with an uber-luxe name: Privé. The name was suggested by blogger Betsy Mitchell from DallasSocials.com in response to a contest hosted by the Westin Galleria on Facebook.
Founder and executive chef Scott Gottlich translates the meaning of this mysterious word: "Privé, which is French for 'private,' will open this fall, and we are absolutely thrilled to offer our patrons a high-end, private dining experience with the same level of finesse they've come to expect from The Second Floor."
The space, which can hold up to 80 people, has state-of-the-art AV services, two flat-screen TVs and a stocked bar. Diners can also buy exclusive access to Gottlich, his sommelier wife, Gina, and executive chef Joel Harloff, who joined Second Floor in March.
Who would want such an amenity? According to the release, those in search of a site for rehearsal dinners, brunches, corporate meetings, women's luncheons, dinner parties or any event that requires the most refined banquet accommodations. Its creation was in response to a rising demand.
Gottlich and his wife also own the highly rated Bijoux in Inwood Village.
