Politically Incorrect Comedy
Political comic extraordinaire Bill Maher returns to Dallas in time for Inauguration Day
Just in time for Inauguration Day, comedian Bill Maher will make his first appearance in Dallas in over three years when he performs at the Music Hall at Fair Park on January 22, 2017.
No matter who wins the presidential election in November, Maher will surely have plenty to say about our new president, who will be sworn into office on January 20, 2017. Maher has set the tone for political comedy for over 20 years, first as the host of Politically Incorrect on Comedy Central and ABC for 10 years, and now as the host of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, which has been on the air for over 13 years.
Maher has also branched out into other media, taking a swipe at organized religion with his 2008 documentary, Religulous. He has written five best-selling books: True Story; Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Politically Incorrect’s Greatest Hits; When You Ride Alone, You Ride with Bin Laden; New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer; and, most recently, The New New Rules: A Funny Look at How Everybody But Me Has Their Head Up Their Ass.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, October 21, at 10 am.
