Top Chef Tre Wilcox invites you to get cozy and learn how to cook in his homekitchen
So, you want to learn how to cook like a Top Chef? Or maybe you just want to hang with one? Well, now you can — and there’s a twist.
Tre Wilcox, Top Chef alumnus and executive chef at Village Marquee Texas Grill & Bar, is opening his home to foodies, fans and folks who just want to sharpen their knife skills. Yep, you read that right. You’re going to Wilcox’s house to cook.
During the TRE Cooking Concepts class ($175 per person), you’ll learn the tricks of the restaurant trade and indulge in a four-course meal that you helped prepare — sans the pressure of judgy Tom Colicchio lurking over your shoulder.
The only pressure you may feel is choosing which friends to invite, because there are a maximum of five students per class. Oh, and you need to choose which Saturday you’d like to spend Top Chef-ing. But hurry up to reserve your spot, because there are only a few dates left:
- February 16
- March 2, 16, 30
Cuisine types vary per class but revolve around French, Italian and global themes. Last minute holiday gift? We think so.
