Dallas preps for Hollywood Domino party with close ties to Johnny Depp
More than 125 supporters, many dressed in white and looking summer chic, joined co-chairs Ayaan Ahmed, Sally Evans, Reese Threadgill and Christa Wetzel and honorary chair Amy Vanderoef at the Minimally Invasive Surgical Institute of Dallas to kick off the first-ever Hollywood Domino Dallas event.
Partygoers —including Stephanie Brigger, Ashley Givens, Jackson, Shelby and RJ DiLena, and Laura and Arthur Hunt — sipped Reyka vodka Moscow Mules and noshed on bites courtesy of Standard Pour while DJs Jennifer Miller and Paul Parredes provided the beats for this charitable soiree.
The first Hollywood Domino Dallas takes place September 6 at Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG). The celebrity hostess will be Amber Heard (aka Johnny Depp’s fiancée) on behalf of the Art of Elysium, an organization for which she has been a longtime supporter and volunteer.
With a Casablanca theme, the evening will include a red carpet, cocktails, seated dinner, games, auction, live entertainment and dancing. Heard and guests will engage in some friendly competition via the Hollywood Domino board game, which puts a unique twist on the classic by creating a movie reel of domino based on the film genre.
Although new to Dallas, Hollywood Domino has hosted this see-and-be-seen philanthropic event in London, New York, Cannes, Puerto Rico, Panama and in Los Angeles since 2008. Past Hollywood Domino attendees include Orlando Bloom, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Mila Kunis, Ben Stiller, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Jon Hamm, Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Gerard Butler.
Tickets and sponsorship packages are on sale now. Hollywood Domino Dallas benefits the Art of Elysium and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
