A Night to Remember
Legendary pop duo helps secure nearly $1 million to fight Dallas poverty
What: A Night to Remember featuring Hall & Oates
Where:The Majestic Theater
The 411: Lovers of the music duo Daryl Hall and John Oates packed the historic theater for an evening of nostalgic pop music. After mingling with VIPs backstage, the group performed all six of their No. 1 hits including "Rich Girl," "Kiss On My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)," "Maneater," and "Out of Touch." And while the duo had the crowd on their feet for the majority of the performance, saxophone player Charles DeChant was also a real showstopper. In addition to raising more than $900,000 for CitySquare, this annual event has already locked in Jerry Seinfeld as the featured entertainer for 2016's A Night to Remember. CitySquare fights the causes and effects of poverty through service, advocacy, and friendship in the heart of Dallas.
