1. Green bus service rolls out 99-cent fares from Dallas to top Texas cities. If driving for hours isn't your thing, an affordable new bus service connecting Texas' major cities might be the answer for your next cross-state trek. German-based FlixBus recently launched a "Southern Network" of routes, with travel options for the Lone Star State's major cities, including Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.
2. Dallas dance bar decamps from Henderson Avenue to new Deep Ellum digs. The stage is set for popular dance club Beauty Bar to reopen in Deep Ellum, with a party slated for April 13. The bar is relocating from its longtime Henderson Avenue address to 2805 Main St., next door to Stirr, in the former Zen Dessert & Bistro Bar space.
3. Designer of world's most-pinned bridal gown says 'I do' to new Dallas boutique. Luxe Australian bridal and occasion-wear brand Grace Loves Lace has put a ring on Dallas, opening its newest showroom on April 9 in the Design District. The cult-favorite bridal designer is the creator of "the world’s most pinned wedding dress on Pinterest," and is famous for its ethereal, modern boho-chic designs.
4. The 10 best pastry chefs in Dallas are the icing on the cake. This year's tour takes place 10 am to 3 pm April 13.
