That's some crib! Beyoncé and Jay-Z lease $1 million nursery for Blue Ivy at NewYork arena
Like any parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z want nothing but the best for their little bundle of joy, Blue Ivy Carter. So the couple recently shelled out a cool $1 million for a luxe nursery at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, US Weekly reports.
The new 19,000-seat arena has become somewhat of a home away from home for the couple. Jay-Z, who is a small investor in the arena, kicked off its opening in late September with eight sold-out performances, where Beyoncé performed "Crazy in Love" with him to the audience's delight.
The couple also regularly attends NBA games at Barclays Center. The arena is home to the recently renamed Brooklyn Nets.
The luxurious basement suite, which is the most expensive real estate in the arena (the average suite rental is $550,000, the magazine reports), has an area filled with toys for the toddler, who turns 1 on Monday.
It also has plenty of offerings for adults too, with a Champagne bar and TV screen. "Jay lets friends use his digs when he's not there," a source told the magazine.
