Mocktail Making Class at Sixty Vines Uptown
Hosted by Dallasites101, this mixology class will teach participants how to make two libations with Ritual Zero Proof and Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits. Participants will also learn the benefits of Dry January from a Methodist Dallas Medical Center DO and transplant hepatologist. Tickets are $35 and the class begins at 6:30 pm.

Mocktail Tasting at The Beeman Hotel
Visit the Park Cities Beeman Hotel for one of its frequent complimentary tastings, this one featuring drinks made with Ritual Zero Proof spirit alternatives, including whiskey, rum, tequila, and gin. The event will run from 4–6 pm in the hotel lobby.
Bar Takeover at Ginger’s Cocktail Lounge
Underground bar in downtown Dallas’ East Quarter will host a two-day bar takeover on January 15-16 starring Christian “Suzu” Suzuki-Orellana, known for his role on Netflix’s
Drink Masters. He'll share highlights from the drink menu he created for Golden Ace, opening soon in Austin, including Okujō Love Affair with mezcal, Campari, sake, miso butter, curry spices, and banana; and Warlock of the Woods with rye, shiitake, white peach, palo santo, cinnamon, and mugi. Entry is complimentary, from 6 pm-12 am.

Dolly Day at Truck Yard Dallas
Gussy up for a day-long celebration of Dolly Parton, whose 79th birthday is January 19. There’ll be Dolly-themed drinks served all day, a Dolly impersonator (5–9 pm), a Dolly and Jolene lookalike contest (7 pm), and Dolly Parton covers by live musicians. Truck Yard will also host a children’s book drive all month long. Guests who bring a new or used children’s book get a Dolly surprise and a Dolly Parton pin. The party starts at 11 am and runs until midnight.
Wine Pairing 101 at Lone Star Winery
What wines pair well with spicy, salty, sweet, and acidic flavors? Find out during this educational tasting at Lone Star Winery in downtown McKinney. Interactive tasting sessions with expert guidance will provide participants the opportunity to craft their own perfect pairings. Class is $39 plus tax and fee, and begins at 11:30 am.

Profound Barn-Raising Farm Tour & Dinner
Five-course farm-to-table dinner is held at Profound Microfarms in Lucas and features a different local guest chef each month. The $195 ticket price supports the farm’s mission of growing produce, supporting local farmers, and offering educational agricultural experiences.
